  Spring 2012 is principally inspired by Alex Katz’s collage and watercolor work from the early 60’s. The tones are muted and the silhouettes spare and simple. Recalling the uniformal Americana of a baseball pitcher or a sophisticated housewife, the lines evoke an East Coast summer camp aesthetic, with key details distilled and highlighted.
