Postcards From Hawaii

  • Antoinette, our West Hollywood Store Manager and West Coast PR Specialist, recently took a trip to Hawaii and shared some of her snapshots with us:

Cromwell’s “locals only” lagoon at Black Point was truly paradise with radiant turquoise water, heavenly breezes, and privacy.

I couldn’t help but notice all the random architectural details, like this doorway that sat along a mountain off Diamond Head.

Leonard Jr.’s Hot Malasadas wagon in Kaneohe offer Hawaii’s version of fresh made-to-order doughnuts. Some come dusted with sugar and cinnamon while others are filled with custard. My favorite is haupia (coconut custard).

After snorkeling Shark’s Cove in North Shore, I stumbled across this lonely swing . . .

. . . and discovered it was part of a scavenger hunt that the locals mapped out.

Helena’s is a must for the finest Hawaiian cuisine since 1946 in Honolulu. The most authentic kalua and cabbage, la lau, chicken long rice, and lomi lomi I’ve ever had.

Thanks, Antoinette! You can see more from our travels here.
