Though it’s the first day of spring, it seems winter isn’t done with us just yet. While the East Coast was dealt another round of wintry mix, Matt, our head of HR, was enjoying sunshine and balmy weather in St. Lucia and made us quite jealous with his Instagrams:

It’s a rough life when you have to take a boat to get to the beach.

A view of the Piton mountain from where we stayed in the southwest corner of the island.

Inside our villa, which included an amazing private pool, an outdoor shower, and an awesome hammock to be lazy in.

In front of the coastal town of Soufriere (wearing an SA shirt, of course).

Inside the town of Soufriere

I almost boiled to death in this hot mud bath inside the sulphur springs located in what they called a “drive-in volcano,” but it was worth it!

This is my first time going zip-lining, and it was amazing. 12 zip-lines through the rainforest near Rodney Bay on the north end of the island.

We met a delightful guy who calls himself the “Coconut Man” at Jalousie Beach.

One of the many strangely beautiful flowers at the Diamond Botanical Gardens
Thanks, Matt! You can check out more of our staff travels here.
