Clare’s Traveling Trunk Show Diary: Greenwich
July 8th, 2013 | Events, In Stock, In the Neighborhood
Clare Vivier and her traveling monogram trunk show recently made a stop at our Greenwich shop, where monograms were printed on all manner of CV leather goods. The event was co-hosted by local blogger Lindley Pless of The Sentimentalist, and featured rhubarb cocktails courtesy of Art in the Age, mixed by our own Matt Finkle. Clare shared her trip diary with us:
I took the train in from Grand Central station, stopping at the Grand Central Market to pick up some fruit to snack on during the ride and beautiful peonies for the SA shop. I had never been to Greenwich before and was excited to see the town and Steven Alan store! We were co-hosting the event with a lovely blogger, Lindley Pless, who immediately helped me pick out the cutest white lace Steven Alan Lane Dress to wear for the event. It was so nice to meet the Greenwich team and local customers; everyone was so friendly and there was a really fun, positive energy that night. So many young moms came in and it was fun to talk to them all! After the event I ate dinner at Harvest and I had the most delicious lamb and charred octopus. I would love to spend more time there soon.
Gold stamping an Overnighter.
