Clare’s Traveling Trunk Show Diary: Tribeca

  • After stops in San Francisco and Greenwich, Clare Vivier’s Traveling Monogram Trunk Show visited our Tribeca shop. Clare shared some highlights and snapshots from her trip to New York:

I was in New York for about a week so I had a lot of time to visit my favorite restaurants. Some of my dining highlights: delicious steak frites at Café Cluny, dinner of schnitzel at Wallsé with my bff, a delicious ceviche lunch at the Hôtel Americano followed by a walk to the Highline, which is always so nice. I had lunch outside at the Standard Hotel followed by a stroll down to Gavin Brown gallery to see the Joe Bradley exhibit. I was staying in Tribeca this trip and every morning I walked to Kaffe 1668 for coffee and fresh juice. I was able to give a presentation on the brand to all of the Steven Alan New York employees before the event. It was so nice to meet everyone and discuss the line. There is a strong community/family vibe at the Tribeca store and the event really felt like that. I always love meeting bloggers and long time customers, and of course, I made sure to sneak off for a minute to purchase the Thomas Sires Jamaica shirt I’ve had my eye on for a while.

Good morning, noisy New York. Everyone’s got a hammer.
